As a Labor Doula, I incorporate Reiki energy healing in my practice, upon request. I am a certified Reiki Master with over 8 years experience. Reiki is an ancient Japanese form of deep relaxation and stress reduction. In doing so, Reiki also helps to promote healing. Reiki is extremely beneficial during your pregancy to reduce stress and helps you to maintain centered enrgy and calmness in preparation for the arrival of your new child. While you are pregnant, your baby also benefits from this loving form of energy work. Reiki can also be used in all phases of labor and as a form of relaxation. Reiki is an excellent entering/focusing tool to quiet your mind and to help to sustain your physical strength during the labor process. Postpartum Reiki aids in rapid healing after delivery and helps you to feel calm and supported by the use of this compassionate energy. I provide Reiki sessions in my home in Boulder, Colorado. A 1-hour Reiki session is $75. If you reside in Boulder County and you prefer that I can come to you for an additional $10 to cover my gas and travel time.
